Setting up an FRProxy proxy in Dolphin{anty}
Dolphin{anty} runs isolated profiles with a reusable proxy library: you declare the proxy once, then assign it in one click.

What Dolphin does better than the others
The proxy library. In Dolphin a proxy is a named object, saved once, reassignable to any profile. When your password changes you edit it in one place instead of reopening every profile.
It is an ergonomic detail that becomes decisive past ten accounts or so.
Step-by-step setup
1. Save the proxy in the library
Profiles → Create profile → Proxy section → New proxy.
| Field | What you enter |
|---|---|
| Name | FRProxy — Orange 15001 (include the carrier: you will thank yourself) |
| Type | SOCKS5 (or HTTP) |
| Host | frproxy.com |
| Port | your port |
| Login / Password | your panel credentials |
2. Check it
The Check button next to the form. It returns the IP as seen from outside, plus the country.
You should read a French IP.
3. Set the profile around the proxy
- Platform: Android or iOS for a mobile proxy. A 4G proxy behind a desktop Windows fingerprint is a readable inconsistency.
- Time zone: automatic, based on the IP.
- Geolocation: automatic as well, otherwise the browser announces a position that does not match the address.
- WebRTC:
Altered/Replacemode. This is the setting that stops a page from reading your real IP straight past the proxy.
⚠️ The WebRTC setting is the one most often forgotten, and the most expensive to forget. A perfect profile with WebRTC in "real" mode hands your home IP to the first page that asks for it. See WebRTC and DNS leaks.
Automation
Dolphin ships a Script Builder that drives profiles without code: open a page, click, type, read a value, loop. Useful for repetitive gestures — logging in, reposting a listing — without writing Selenium.
It also exposes a local API to launch a profile from your own scripts.
Strengths and limits
| ✅ | ❌ |
|---|---|
| Proxy library: declared once, reused everywhere | Paid beyond the free tier |
| No-code script builder | Dense interface at first |
| Team sync, access management | Memory use per profile |
| Explicit, clear WebRTC setting | Some labels change between versions |
